Rabbits are social animals and make good companion pets for anyone willing to take a little time to learn about their special needs. Healthy, happy rabbits can live more than 10 years. They are happy being housed in a cage inside your home providing they have enough room and are let out to roam free once in a while. It is important though to make sure you rabbit proof your house before letting them hop around. They like to chew on just about anything so make certain you tuck away things like electrical cords and any harmful cleaning chemicals. Many house plants are very toxic to rabbits some of which are aloe, calla lily, philodendron, lily of the valley, azalea and more.

If your new pet will be spending much of its time in a rabbit cage then make sure to get the biggest cage that your home can accommodate. A good rule to follow is to purchase a rabbit cage that is 4 times bigger than your rabbit.

The Small Economy Rabbit Cage measures 18x24x14 with a deep slide out pan for easy cleaning and has a large front door for easy access. This cage also comes as a Medium Economy Rabbit Cage at 24x24x14 and is also available in the Large Economy Rabbit Cage model.

Legacy Indoor Rabbit Cages Flip Top Economy Rabbit Cages also provides easy access and a drop in pan with a 1/2 x 1 wire mesh floor and measures 24x14x12. The Standard Economy Rabbit Cages also has a convenient drop in pan with a large front door opening and is a little larger at 30x18x18. Also available is a Two-Level Economy Rabbit Cage that has 1 ramp and 1 balcony for your rabbit to explore and a large front door and measures 30x18x24.
