Authentic 304-Grade Stainless Steel Cages vs. "The Fakes"

Legacy Cages are truly the finest cages on Earth.  We use strictly top-of-the-line materials in our cages, and our cages feature fully authentic 304-Grade U.S. Stainless Steel.  Everyone out there claims to use "304-Grade Stainless Steel" for their cages, but most are not being completely truthful with the consumers.  Many factories out there "water down" the 304-Grade Stainless Steel mixture, creating a non-authentic stainless steel.  304-Grade Stainless Steel has a very specific mixture of components (think of it as ingredients).  If you change the formula, it should no longer be called 304-Grade Stainless Steel.  The reason they do this is simple; to save money.   They substitute less expensive components for the more expensive ones, and this leaves you with a non-stainless metal.  This is why you see such a wide price range for stainless steel cages.  The cages that are made of authentic 304-Grade Stainless Steel are priced higher than "the fakes" are.  In fact, just the wholesale cost of the raw materials on truly authentic stainless steel cages far exceeds the total price most "fakes" are sold for.  As you would expect, since the stainless steel used in these cages isn't real stainless steel, they rust and/or corrode in a very short amount of time.  In fact, they typically do not even last as long as a decent powder-coated cage.
